Herbert Druschke is Acid Basztard.

In the mid-1990s, he founded the techno collective "Active Underground", with which he quickly generated a veritable fan base not only in his native city of Düsseldorf, but especially in the nearby countries Holland and Belgium.
His first album "Kompressor" was released in 1998 on the Eindhoven label Zodiak Commune. After moving to Berlin in 1999, Herbert Druschke worked as a DJ and produced numerous tracks with Tino Urbiks as "Alanfort" and Christian Seidel as "Blackflash", which were presented live and released on vinyl and digitally.

Herbert Druschke aka Acid Basztard currently lives and works as an artist and musician in Düsseldorf. He produced his album "Technogeist" entirely in his "Bedroom-Studio“.
He finds inspiration above all in the view of the nearby power station and the busy railway tracks and the trains whizzing by, which exude a certain industrial romanticism for him.
